Helping to run a casino and a bar, to make errands and favors for other teams for berget dollars and "drugs", to hide goldbars in plain sight watching the other teams walking over it.
This Berget gave me so much new experiences, both good and bad.
Meeting all from the nicest players who sky rocket the fun factor for us, and to those who just wanted to ruin all we got, and almost did sadly.
But overall I had a blast.
It was also a weird feeling when the team we were supposed to be the most threatened by turning up to be our protectors and true friends, while the team that was supposed to protect the village turned out to be the aggressors and ultra hostile. They even sent a death squad and committed a genocide in the village, breaking alot of in game rules, ruined the fun for everyone in village for almost a whole day.
But hey, it is Berget after all and it's hard for everyone to get along.
I think, in my own opinion that we who lived in the village had the most of fun during this event.
We got action, drama, stupid and funny side mission provided by other players with the right money or things that we wanted.
And we got it all just 15 minutes from the starting signal untill the very end of the event.
Sadly we lost our gang leader too early in the game, and we needed to have a change in command.
Two squad leaders wanted the role so we decided that they should have a duel about it, the winner get the commanding role of Sons of the North.
It was a sad duel, missed shots, pistols missfireing, mags falling out. I was just going to record it, but... Yeah let's say I won in fair fight. 🤣
A few of us SoNs survived the final eradication, me and my brother in law sat in the middle of the village talking to the villagers to blend in while watching the MP (who seemed to have forgotten about us) searching for other SoNs and executed them on sight unarmed.
The laundry guys were spared after being killed for fun by the MPs and then healed back.
We ended up successfully collecting 10 gold bars, witch was one of our main objectives. And for the prologe for our story, we helped the village to become a town by using the gold, helping the villagers building up infrastructure such as a school, hospital, and even a police station who the mayor wanted me and the rest of the SoNs who wasn't killed or manage to escape to run.
Now I have soo much video material to go through before editing something to post
I really want to thank you all involved for the best Berget experience I ever had so far!
Thank you!
And I guess I'll see you guys around.
🤜🏻🤛🏻
Yeah, I saw the opportunity to make a fun memory and took it. It was well received by everyone who witness it, and I still laugh every time I watching it 😁
I have no problems with the larping, it was the rule breaking we witness that was hard to swallow for pretty much every one present.
When we got "executed" in the back several of us got hit in the back of the head from approximately 5-7 meters away by assault, lmg and dmr. One guy even got hit on the lip and needed treatment for the wound he got.
Knifing civilians, that was forbidden accordingly the rule book.
Searching through personal stuff.
Entering a building that was off game during the hour.
Hehe, well we noticed that when papa arrived that some of you guys wanted to chill but didn't trust us. And it got even worse after when a biker knife killed those poor "latrin guards" and tried to blame us for it. I was lucky enough to have recorded the murder without even knowing it and was able to show it to you guys before the shit hit the fan, so to say. 😅
Well, I kinda had a story for my character so to say. But it evolved and changed thanks to the lovely people acting as civilians. I noticed how much Berget means to them and I broke my character to fit their happy ending. Next time I might go full civilan or continue with my character having a Police squad story depending on if the storyline on Berget 22 continues to Berget 23.
But like I said earlier, overall this was my best Berget experience, and I would like to take the opportunity to thank you and your papa company too for being a part of that. Thank you!

Haha, that video is gold. :D
Glad you guys had a good time as civies. I did hear about some weird stuff that happened and it's something that I will work on within my unit too. I myself, I'm not in the Larp mindset but I am friendly and keep the distance. Luckily there are some really good larpers in the group that when we pulled security, they gambled, drank, did drugs, ... and supported your economy.
When we were in town with the Papa company, it was fun to see that it was a certain vibe with all corners secured. We didn't want to harm you, we even wanted to support you so you could keep doing the business, as long as it did not harm our people.
I think a good idea should be to have a story going a while before the game so characters and people are known for the story and not because their friends know them.
It was a good game.
